Elon Isn’t Going To Jail
Analyzing the Narrative
I remember the day fairly well (I am long $TSLA equity as well as call options).
The first big Tesla news of the day was an article released by the Financial Times that stated that the Saudi Sovereign Wealth fund had “acquired a significant position” in the stock“.

Then Elon put the stock in Falcon-X mode when he tweeted on his official Twitter account that he was considering taking the company private at $420 a share
….then came the opening interpretations.
The first thing I thought that made sense started being reported on CNBC three hours after I made this post. Even a good friend called it far-fetched on StockTwits (I see you Flo!)
Then we get a

I wanted to write this over the weekend when the other headlines about things like where the money was coming from and the SEC investigation were big questions posed in headlines.
Here’s what I think, based on the timeline of events

That’s why the
One article asked “Where was the NASDAQ?”
This reporter must have had a quota on articles to write that he needed to fill. The Financial Times report is OBVIOUSLY material evidence for the stock to make that move, so they were doing their job.
I’m all into us vs. them, but this time the financial media was really stretching.
My other Nostradamus claims have been verified so there’s no point bragging about those here as if you check today’s headlines they can speak for themselves.
Musk said the Saudis had interest despite some chatter I don’t believe.
This to me retains $TSLA as a long….but the deal might not be done yet so….
“Wise men say, only fools rush-in.”
I just realized it’s three so to the tape I must return.
Don’t trust everything you read.
Even this. I could be totally off. But I don’t think so…..it’s a jungle out there.
